Fleet Feet - Free Running and Walking Clubs
Fleet Feet's running and walking clubs are a fun way to meet like-minded individuals in the community and beyond. Regardless of your experience level, pace, or background, our free, social running and walking groups provide a welcoming and inclusive community for all! Group Run Schedule: Mondays (6 PM) at Fleet Feet in Northville, Tuesdays (7 AM) at Dozer Coffee, Wednesdays (7 PM) at Fleet Feet in Downtown Ann Arbor, and Sundays (8 AM) at Dozer Coffee. Group Walk Schedule: Wednesdays (8 AM) at Fleet Feet in Northville and Mondays (8 AM) at Arrowhead Trailhead in West Bloomfield. Ann Arbor Track Club
Ann Arbor Track Club promotes fitness and community through runs, walks, and track and field workouts. They host weekly Tuesday Night Track workouts, through October 29th. These coached interval workouts take place at Ferry Field at 6:30 PM. Participants should warm up on their own before the start. Non-members are welcome to preview a few workouts. There is no need to sign up ahead of time. You may be asked to sign a waiver. Additional information including the schedule of the workouts can be found on the website. Black Men Run
Black Men Run supports a wide range of abilities and is open to everyone. From first-timers to advanced runners, we strive to promote increased fitness through a culture of running. We meet up on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM in the Vivios parking lot in Eastern Market and on Saturdays at 8:00 AM on Belle Isle. We normally run 3 to 6 miles. Northville Road Runners
The Northville Roadrunners are a local premier running/walking club, with all paces and distances. On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 PM, we run on Hines in the summer (Cass Benton Pavilion), and in the winter we run the streets of Northville starting from Northville Sports Den. On Saturdays at 9:00 AM, we run at Maybury State Park in the summer and start from the Northville Sports Den in the winter. We run all year, rain or shine! NRR also has a signature run/walk every First Tuesday of the month, at Fleet Feet in Northville. Run/walk starts at 6:00 PM then we stay after to share our fun and passion. Come for the run, stay for the fun is our mantra. Everyone is welcome! NRR is an active participant in running and volunteering at local races. Fun, fitness, and passion are hallmarks of NRR. Erratic Run Club
Erratic Run Club is a social run club meeting at Erratic Ale Co. Runners, Walkers, & Strollers are welcome! Free to come and run, no membership is required! Better yet, bring a friend! We have fun incentives and prizes for benchmark check-ins! We meet at 6 PM, every Wednesday at Erratic Ale Co. Our route is an out-and-back along the Border to Border Path and occasionally themed fun runs. It is traffic-free and plowed in the winter! Participants are encouraged to stick around the brewery after their run/walk and enjoy $2 off their first beer! Plus $1 will be donated to B2B Trail. 501 Running Club
With 501 Running Club, you’ll have camaraderie among all types of runners, resulting in many lasting friendships formed over the years. Our goal is to promote endurance running in a supportive environment that celebrates individual achievements and collective success as a team. On Saturday mornings (7:00 AM in the summer, 8:00 AM in the winter) we meet at Kensington Metro Park for our long run, ranging from from 5 to 20+ miles. The club provides water and Gatorade for members at two locations within the park to keep us running strong. The club meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM for speed work at the Northville Fleet Feet store. We will either be on the track pushing each other through a prescribed workout, or doing multiple, lung-busting circuits up and down a nearby hill. After these workouts, many members will meet in a restaurant nearby for food and beverages. It’s a great way to rehash our efforts and discuss upcoming races. The Lakes Runners & Walkers
The Lakes Runners and Walkers came from the desire to build a community of people who want to be active, be social, and have a safe space to exercise. Whether you love to run, jog, walk, or just want to get outside, this group is for you. The speed and pace you move is not a concern. The goal is for people to come on out and have fun! The group meets every Tuesday, rain or shine (within reason), at Kickstand Brewing Company at 6:00 PM. Our routes are seasonal. In the summer we run through West Acres, and in the winter, we start at Keith Elementary and run through the neighborhoods in that area. Our run routes are 5 miles. Of course, you can go shorter or longer if you like. Afterward, enjoy some food and beverages at Kickstand Brewing Company or one of the other local eateries.
